Quick-start guide Logitech Speaker System Z523 ® Important Safety InStrUCtIonS CaUtIon! eLeCtrIC SHoCK HaZarD · · · · · · · · · Read these instructions. Keep these instructions. Heed all warnings. Follow all instructions. Do not use this apparatus near water. Clean only with dry cloth. Do not block any ventilation openings. Install in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions. Do not install near any heat sources such as radiators, heat registers, stoves, or other apparatus (including amplifiers) that produce heat. Do not defeat the safety purpose of the polarized or grounding-type plug. A polarized plug has two blades with one wider than the other. A grounding type plug has two blades and a third grounding prong. The wide blade or the third prong is provided for your safety. If the provided plug does not fit into your outlet, consult an electrician for replacement of the obsolete outlet. Protect the power cord from being walked on or pinched particularly at plugs, convenience receptacles, and the point where they exit from the apparatus. Only use attachments/accessories specified by the manufacturer. Unplug this apparatus during lightning storms or when unused for long periods of time. Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel. If you are using the headphone output on your device, make sure the volume level on your device is set to 80% or higher. If you have more questions about your Logitech® speakers, visit www.logitech.com/support. · If one speaker doesn't produce sound, unplug your speakers and plug them in again. · Make sure the left speaker is plugged into the yellow RCA jack on the subwoofer. · Make sure the speakers are plugged into an AC outlet, the speaker power is on, and speaker volume and source volume are turned up. · Try connecting the speakers to an alternate audio source - for example, a MP3 or CD player. · Sound from the speaker is muted whenever headphones are plugged in. Try removing them to restore sound to the speakers. · Make sure the cable from the soundcard to the main speaker is inserted all the way. English 4 Logitech hardware product limited warranty Logitech warrants to the original purchaser that your Logitech hardware product shall be free from defects in material and workmanship for 2 years from the date of purchase.
