Children are not always able to correctly assess the potential dangers. · Store the packaging foils well away from children. There is a risk of suffocation! · Never open the housing of the sport headphones and do not attempt to repair it yourself. · Listening to music too frequently with the headphones, and music which is also too loud, will lead to permanent hearing damage. -3- Warning · Never use the sport headphones in public road traffic. If you do, you may not be able to hear warning signals or other traffic sounds. · Never set the sound volume so loud that you can no longer hear what is happening around you. Important · Do not subject the Sport Headphones to high temperatures. It could cause irreparable damage to them. · Never submerse the Sport Headphones in water or other fluids. · There are no user-serviceable parts inside the headphones. Never open the housing. It could cause irreparable damage to the appliance. Notice No liability will be accepted for damages resulting from improper or irregular handling, the use of violence or unauthorised modifications. -4- Proper use The Sport Headphone is intended for the playback of music. For this, it must be connected to a playback device with a 3,5 mm jack plug. It is intended for private use only, not for commercial use. Caution! Regular listening to loud music through headphones will lead to hearing damage. · Place the Sport Headphones on your head. Take note of the markings ,,R" (right) and ,,L" (left) on the earplugs +. · Then adjust the sound volume on the playback device to the desired level. -7- Exchanging the ear cushions · Select the ear cushions suitable for your ears. · Simply pull the old ear cushions off of the ear plugs + . · Place the new ear cushions over the pegs on the earplug + such that the ear cushions sit firmly on the earplugs +. Cleaning and Care · Clean the Sport Headphones with a lightly moistened cloth. Never use aggressive cleansers. They can damage the surfaces. · Remove the ear cushions to clean them. Clean the ear cushions with a mild soapy solution and rinse them with clear water. Dry the ear cushions well. Replace the ear cushions over the ear plugs only when they are completely dry. · Ensure that no liquids can enter the interior of the Sport Headphones. -8- Disposal Do not dispose of the appliance in your normal domestic waste. This product is subject to the European guideline 2002/96/EC. Dispose of the appliance through an approved disposal centre or at your community waste facility. Observe the currently applicable regulations. In case of doubt, please contact your waste disposal centre. Dispose of all packaging materials in an environmentally friendly manner. -9- Troubleshooting Problem: · You cannot hear any sounds from your Sport Headphones. ³ The sound volume regulator on the playback device is on the setting minimum . Increase the playback volume. ³ The 3,5 mm jack plug is not completely inserted into the socket on the playback device. Push the 3,5 mm jack plug completely into the socket. · You hear sounds in only one channel. is not completely inserted into the socket on the playback device. Push the 3,5 mm jack plug com-pletely into the socket. ³ The stereo balance regulator on the playback device is out of adjustment. Adjust it to the setting you desire. ³ The 3,5 mm jack plug - 10 - Warranty and Service The warranty for this appliance is for 3 years from the date of purchase. The appliance has been manufactured with care and meticulously examined before delivery. Please retain your receipt as proof of purchase. In the event of a warranty claim, please make contact by telephone with our Service Department. Only in this way can a post-free despatch for your goods be assured. The warranty covers only claims for material and maufacturing defects, but not for transport damage, for wearing parts or for damage to fragile components, e.g. buttons or batteries. This product is for private use only and is not intended for commercial use. The warranty is void in the case of abusive and improper handling, use of force and internal tampering not carried out by our authorized service branch. Liian usein tapahtuva ja kova musiikin kuuntelu kuulokkeiden avulla aiheuttaa kuulovaurioita. · Aseta urheilukuulokkeet korvillesi. Huomioi kuulokkeiden merkinnät ,,R" (oikea) ja ,,L" (vasen) + . · Säädä lopuksi haluttu äänenvoimakkuus toistolaitteesta. - 19 - Korvapehmusteiden vaihtaminen · Valitse korvillesi sopivat korvapehmusteet . · Irrota vanhat korvapehmusteet korvakuulokkeista + yksinkertaisesti vetämällä. · Vedä uudet korvapehmusteet korvakuulokkeiden + tappeihin niin, että korvapehmusteet istuvat tiiviisti paikoillaan korvakuulokkeissa +. Puhdistus ja hoito · Puhdista urheilukuulokkeet kevyesti kostutetulla liinalla. Älä käytä mitään syövyttäviä puhdistusaineita. Ne saattavat vahingoittaa pintaa. · Irrota korvapehmusteet puhdistusta varten. Puhdista korvapehmusteet miedossa saippualiuoksessa ja huuhtele ne puhtaalla vedellä. Kuivaa korvapehmusteet hyvin. Vedä korvapehmusteet kuulokkeisiin vasta, kun ne ovat täysin kuivuneet. · Älä päästä urheilukuulokkeisiin mitään nesteitä. - 20 - Hävittäminen Älä missään tapauksessa heitä laitetta tavallisen talousjätteen sekaan.
